I love that hair color. My hair is naturally very light strawberry blond. I had it dyed black and love it but I want a change but my stylist says he can't take the black out safely. He is afraid he will fry my hair. I noticed you had black and now this reddish shade, how did you do it?

Same thing happened with me. I got my hair cut off to about an inch so as to go back to natural color immediately. :)

I'm not sure, but I *think* the black had faded a ton before I went orange. And I was only using the boxed dye from the store when I was dying it black so it's not THAT harsh. But honestly my stylist just bleached it with a higher developer. The ends didn't take as well as they would have if there wasn't any black underneath, but it was barely noticeable and my hair was fine. Especially after the orange dye she used - it never looked or felt healthier. But she won't tell me what she used!
